EVOLUTION
Sophisticated colour palette, versatile in use, for the change in the
millennium. It is a logical development and continuation of the shades of the previous
season. The focus is on selected, blurred, misty shades and variations of grey.
A.
Light, almost transparent, tinted faux blanc inspired by marble and shimmering pearl.
These are shown to advantage with slightly felty and raised qualities as well as with
heavier, crêpe-like looks. They are teamed with dark D or bright C colours for effect.
B.
An important range of medium, misty, almost frosty intermediate shades. Jersey, silky or
raised, and woven and knit faux-unis are distinguished by this soft colorfulness.
Versions of green and make-up shades are popular for a highly feminine look.
C.
Bright to mild colours which are just as suitable for piece-dyeing as for effects. Silky
cloqué and rep variations, low-contrast jacquards and single jerseys all benefit from
these.
D.
Dark, rich, sophisticated colours for everyday looks. The shades of the other groups
enliven and provide points of light. Lightweight double cloth and qualities with
structured surfaces in woolly or cottony version, elegant or sportily rustic, are
particularly suitable for this group of colours.
