PA 6 and 6.6 fibers for cotton, woolen, worsted and carpet spinning, for flock cutting and non-woven
Polyamide 6 and 6.6 staple fibers and tow Both of PA 6 and PA 6.6 dtex 1.7dtex/38mm staple fiber can be applied on cotton spinning systems. Because it needs excellent technology and experience to spin 100% spun PA 6 and PA 6.6 yarn and since there is less demand for pure nylon spun, we do recommend to blend with cotton or rayon (Tencel/Modal) to make PA/Cotton or PA/Rayon yarn – these are the most popular items today. The normal blending percentage for such kinds of yarn is PA 6 or PA 6.6 ( 30-40% )/cotton or rayon ( 70-60% ). This is the ideal combination for cost structure and fabric effect. In dtex 2.7/51 mm and dtex 3.3dtex/51mm semidull round there is the possibility to supply the fibers "siliconized". This means that the fiber receives special treatment to obtain after spinning a very nice hand touch – it provides the feeling like natural cashmere fiber. This touch does not disappear after subsequent production steps, such as the dyeing process. Usually, Asian markets call it cashmere type – in Western countries it is called siliconized type.
