Separating, bonding and combi-yarns for embroidering, knitting, weaving, ready-to-wear apparel and for many new-to-be-developed applications.

Our supplier partner has specialized for many years in rational bonding and strengthening methods for all kinds of textiles. Multifilament special products made of CO-PA and CO-PES, are low-temperature separation and fusible bonding yarns, produced under a quality assurance system according to ISO 9001. In addition, they also completely satisfy the human ecological requirements of the Eco-Tex standard 100.

It is difficult to imagine the modern textile industry and its periphery without these speciality yarns. They serve to simplify process steps i.e. for rationalization, but are also important for improving the quality of articles not otherwise economically feasible.

The variety of application possibilities for our products in knitting, chenille and band production or for labels, embroidery, raschel lace and the ready-to-wear apparel industry, can be classified in three important product assortments:

  • Separating yarns
Separation yarns have proved successful in the production of knitted panels for making-up into men's, ladies and children wear and also in the sock and stocking industry. They are made of co-polyester or co-polyamide in finenesses from dtex 75 to 390 with melting points of 60, 85 and 110°C (suitable for products which contain wool, acrylic and polyamide) and with 135 and 160°C (cotton). A special thread which melts at about 60°C has been developed for separation bobbin lace.

  • Fusible bonding yarns
Fusible bonding yarns have a multitude of potential uses in the textile industry, including bonding of:
    - trouser waistbands
    - sheathing for bra underwiring
    - iron-on woven labels
    - elastic support tapes for securing picot edging
    - chenille yarns
    - curtain tapes etc
They are of co-polyamide and are produced in finenesses from 23 dtex to 840 dtex with melting points of 60, 85, 110 and 140°C.
Using these yarns helps to improve and rationalize production processes.

  • Combi yarns
Our multifilament combi fusible bonding yarn consists of a fusible yarn twisted with a supporting yarn of normal melting point made from polyester or polyamide filaments. The fusible component in the combi yarn, used as the under-thread in the seam, is caused to melt and fuse by application of heat, whilst the supporting thread remains held in the seam with the top yarn. These yarns are supplied in finenesses of 45, 110, 200, 400, 900 and 1100 dtex and with melting points of 84 and 140°C.
    Such yarns are used for:
    - iron-on attachment of embroidery
    - edge reinforcement of rachel lace
    - fusing of seams. collar bands, chest pieces in men's and ladies outerwear
